Joe Hallenbeck is a former secret service agent turned private investigator who can't seem to keep his life on track. When he gets a job to bodyguard a stripper, Cory, he gets entangled in a plot to legalize sports gambling. Jimmy Dix is a former professional quarterback who also happens to be Cory's boyfriend. When she's killed, Joe and Jimmy team up to bring down the bad guys and try not to get blown up in the process.
