Free Willy is a feel-good family movie about a boy named Jesse and his friendship with a captive Orca whale named Willy. Directed by Simon Wincer, the movie stars Jason James Richter as Jesse and Keiko as Willy.

The story is about a boy named Jesse who befriends Willy and works to set him free from an amusement park. The film has a powerful message about conservation and animal welfare, making it a great watch for people of all ages.

One of the best things about the movie is the chemistry between Richter and Keiko. Their scenes together are both heartwarming and emotional.

The special effects in the film are also pretty cool, especially the underwater scenes and Willy's jumps. Additionally, the animatronic orcas that were used for close-up shots are very realistic. The score by Basil Poledouris adds a lot to the emotional depth of the film.

Though it's not a revolutionary movie, it is still a well-made and enjoyable family film with a strong message. It's a movie that both kids and adults will enjoy.
